The First FinSmart Solution Goes Live

Since the Principa/Welcom partnership was launched in South Africa we have had a credit issuer go-live.

From what we understand the integrated lending solution will be the most digitised vehicle finance solution on that side of the equator.

FinSmart has many integrations for customers that purchase a vehicle at dealers across South Africa.

The application makes a bureau call, checks proof of income, proof of address, KYC, digital signature, scoring and account creation – all this traffic will be allocated a credit limit and Financier will manage the account.

Collectively, The FinSmart platform is a new generation integrated lending solution that offers a high degree of configurability through Financier for account processing, AppSmart for originations, CollectSmart for collections and recoveries, DecisionSmart for business rules and BridgeSmart to easily integrate all the components.

The solution was delivered by a team spread across three countries (South Africa, UK and India).
