Welcom Software short-listed
for national award

Leading business solution provider, Welcom Software has been short-listed for the Computer Weekly ‘Best Places to Work in IT’ Award for the second year running.

Welcom, along with fellow North Yorkshire software company Erudine, have made it on to the short-list for the IT Software & Hardware Suppliers category. They face stiff competition from major companies such as Microsoft and GCI on behalf of Dell.

The short-list nomination is testament to Welcom Software’s investment in staff development and their continued empowerment of staff to contribute towards the growth of the business.

Nigel Welch, Welcom Sofware’s chief executive officer says: “Our staff are our most important asset. We believe that to have a happy workforce and to help staff develop and progress their careers is of the ultimate importance.

“The introduction of initiatives such as the “dream to reality” award scheme, lunch and learn sessions and our recent commitment to the IiP “benefits of balance” (healthy work/life balance) scheme illustrates that we are committed to ensuring our staff get the most out of their jobs.”

The results of the awards will be announced on Friday 2nd March at the awards ceremony in London.
