Welcom Software are delighted to announce that we have just signed up with WebEx, the web-conferencing and online meetings provider. This will allow us to undertake demonstrations, collaborative work and support with our clients, prospects and users.

We have already been using WebEx with existing clients to collaborate on ongoing development and demonstrate new solutions. The feedback has been very positive and these clients are already asking that this approach be used more in the future.

WebEx delivers a robust suite of on-demand collaborative applications that dramatically increase business efficiencies. Bringing together users and prospects from multiple sites at different geographical locations, WebEx allows us to present secure, high performance, rich media content for impressive and engaging communication.

WebEx will benefit both our clients and us, saving costs and time in terms of travel and time out of the office. This will mean we are more productive and able to respond to client requests for meetings, demonstrations or training more quickly and effectively.

From a support perspective, WebEx will aid the effectiveness and efficiency of our call resolution. Using the tool, the Helpdesk Specialists will be able to request permission from the user for access to their application and then see first hand the problem they are experiencing. On top of this, the issue can be recorded and this file attached to the call for review during first and second line response. Equally, the Helpdesk Specialist will be able to share their own desktop and guide the user through the resolution of an issue making support much more 'hands on'.

We can deploy our online meeting services quickly, easily, and cost-effectively without any up-front IT investments from our clients. All that is needed from a participant perspective is a standard browser with internet connection and phone to take advantage of real-time data collaboration and audio and video conferencing. The solution is secure and all participants control how much or how little access the meeting host has to their desktop and applications.
