Welcom Software is launching a supplier portal designed to drive out costs and lead time from the supply chain whilst increasing overall control and visibility of supplier performance.

The portal will best suit companies that have a regular bulk flow of purchase documentation with their suppliers. The portal will massively reduce costs, increasing accuracy and the time of the traditional 'purchase to pay' cycle. The portal makes previous supplier communication methods redundant including paper, fax and EDI, as well as providing full tracking throughout the process. The portal has two way functionality, accurate purchase orders out, acknowledgements, price and product updates, invoices and technical information back from your supplier.

The portal has the added benefit of reducing the lead time by up to two days, giving, for many of our customers, the pro-rata benefit of two days increased sales turnover.

The supplier portal from Welcom Software is available as a managed service or more traditional client-server implementation. The beta version is available now.
