Welcom Software continues to differentiate itself in the market place through the achievement of additional competencies for Advanced Infrastructure Solutions: Hosting Specialisation and Data Management as part of the Microsoft Gold Certified Partner Accreditation.

Welcom Software, supplier of class leading solutions in eCommerce, financial accounting, retail and loan management software has added two new competencies: Advanced Infrastructure Solutions: Hosting Specialisation and Data Management to its Microsoft Gold Certified Partner portfolio. Building on existing competencies in Business Process & Integration and Custom Development Solutions, this achievement recognises Welcom Software’s expertise and impact in the technology marketplace.

As part of the Gold Partner Programme, Microsoft Competencies are designed to help differentiate partners’ capabilities with specific Microsoft technologies to customers looking for a particular type of solution. Each competency has a unique set of requirements and benefits, formulated to accurately represent the specific skills and services that partners bring to the technology industry.

Designed for technology partners specialising in high-availability, complex infrastructure solutions, Advanced Infrastructure Solutions: Hosting Specialisation recognises that Welcom Software has proven its proficiency in delivering consistent, high-quality hosted or outsourced services built on Microsoft technology. The Hosting specialisation not only allows Welcom Software to further differentiate from the competition but also adds value through benefits including: tools, tested best practices, scripts, and code samples designed to efficiently deploy hosted solution offerings on the Windows platform. These benefits will support Welcom to continue to improve operational efficiency, increase customer satisfaction, and, ultimately increase profitability.

The Data Management Solutions recognise Welcom Software’s proven competency in implementing solutions that feature data warehousing, business intelligence, online analytical processing (OLAP), data mining, decision support, in-depth reporting solutions, and associated access tools.

Nigel Corp, Chief Operating Officer of the Welcom Software Group, said: “Maintaining Gold Certified Partner Status and increasing our competencies to four is a huge achievement for everyone and offers significant benefits to both ourselves and our clients. Businesses today are looking to partner with a technology company that can help them bridge the gap between their business demands and their technology capabilities. Through our continued attainment of the highest level in the Microsoft Partner programme we can enhance our service to clients, present and future, acting as an expert adviser for their long-term strategic technology plans. We are thrilled to have maintained this prestigious recognition of our high standards.”

The Microsoft Partner Program was launched in October 2003 and represents Microsoft’s ongoing commitment to the success of partners worldwide. The program offers a single, integrated partnering framework that recognises partner expertise, rewards the total impact that partners have in the technology marketplace, and delivers more value to help partners’ businesses be successful.
