Harrogate based award winning software house Welcom Software has recently expanded its Business Development Team with the appointment of Andrew Fowler and Nick Pawley as Business Development Managers.

Fowler and Pawley join Welcom with extensive experience of the software marketplace across a range of sectors including: accounting, telecommunications, supply chain and retail. Tasked with driving forward the Welcom Software Group, Fowler and Pawley will be developing the businesses Software, eCommerce and eMarketing portfolios.

Fowler joins Welcom from Maginus Software Solutions where he held the position of Sales Manager for three years. Prior to that Fowler held senior IT, Operations and Marketing posts for a number of organisations including Johnson & Johnson before moving into software business development.

Prior to joining Welcom, Pawley worked internationally in a wide variety of industries including: GPS, Electronics and Telecommunications before moving into software. Speaking about the appointment Pawley says: "I am really looking forward to helping drive forward the Welcom Software Group. I understand the key challenges that retailers face as they address their software issues and the importance of multi-channel integration."

Nigel Corp, Welcom Software Group Chief Operating Officer believes that appointing Fowler and Pawley is another key stage in the ongoing development of Welcom Software. Nigel said: "Both Fowler and Pawley bring with them a wealth of business development experience coupled with a real knowledge of Software Solutions, eCommerce and eMarketing across a range of industry sectors. Both have a detailed understanding of the challenges faced by businesses in integrating their software solutions into their businesses."
