Welcom Software Group declared ‘World
Class’ employer

The Welcom Software Group continues to distinguish itself in the IT sector as a company that places its employees at the heart of its business through their achievement of being crowned the ‘Best Company to Work for’ in Yorkshire.

The Welcom Software Group are celebrating more award success with their recent win of the highly sought after accolade ‘Best Company to Work for’ at the annual Yorkshire Post Excellence in Business Awards.

Described at the ceremony as “a World Class employer”, this achievement adds to the organisation’s ever-growing collection of awards and accreditations whilst emphasising their continued commitment to their employees.

Bringing together some of the finest companies and entrepreneurs from across the region, the Yorkshire Post Excellence in Business Awards, now in their second year, are designed to celebrate the success and diversity of the Yorkshire and Humberside business community. Seeking out the very best of the best, the awards highlight the creativity and quality of the diverse collection of businesses and individual entrepreneurs found across our region.

For the Welcom Software Group, this award is another external indicator of the success of the organisation’s recent culture transformation achieved through the implementation of people-centred business practices placing people and their well-being as a key driver of the business. This success was also recently highlighted by the Group’s accreditation against the Investors in People Work-Life Balance model. Adding to the IiP Recruitment & Selection & Management & Leadership models, Welcom was the first company in the Yorkshire and Humberside region to be accredited against all three.

Welcom Software won the ‘Best Company to Work For’ award for its commitment to train, motivate and empower its staff. All staff are encouraged to work closely together to present a united front ensuring the delivery of a consistent message and service.
