Welcom Software is delighted to have signed a contract to provide the Secured Loans module of its Financier lending solution to Shepherds Friendly Society based in Cheadle.

Shepherds, a mutual insurer specialising in tax-free savings, income protection and investment products, has been looking after people’s money since 1826. The purchase of the Financier Secured Loans module will enable the company to offer and manage secured loans and other financial products provided using the Welcom Financier solution.

The secured loan module allows full details of the security to be captured and attached to the customer and agreement. Fully integrated Diary and Workflow allows business process to be rapidly configured and provides the flexibility to respond effectively to changes in business processes and regulatory compliance. It can be used to configure the arrears and default cycles, populate work queues, automatically produce letters and manage applications based on pre-defined business rules.

Financier is a flexible, highly configurable and scalable lending engine able to manage Secured and Unsecured Loans, Bridging Loans, Asset Finance, HP, Home Credit and Revolving Credit (RAC).
