As one of the requirements for attaining Gold Certified Partner status, The Welcom Software Group had to declare one or more Microsoft Competencies. Microsoft Competencies are designed to help differentiate a partner’s capabilities with specific Microsoft technologies to customers looking for a particular type of solution. Each competency has a unique set of requirements and benefits, formulated to accurately represent the specific skills and services that partners bring to the technology industry.
Welcom Software has extensive experience and proven expertise in designing and/or implementing complex infrastructure solutions and hosting services using Microsoft tools and software. Through accreditation, Welcom Software has demonstrated a detailed knowledge of specialised skills and expertise in designing and implementing innovative yet cost-effective infrastructure solutions that support client objectives. As a technology partner with the Hosting Solutions specialisation added to its credentials, Welcom Software has proven additional proficiency in delivering consistent, high-quality hosted or outsourcing services built on Microsoft technology.
The Business Process and Integration Competency is designed for Microsoft Certified and Gold Certified Partners with proven proficiency in implementing and deploying server-based portals for driving Internet commerce and business applications using Microsoft tools and software. Delivering the high levels of reliability and availability needed for business-to-customer Web sites requires not only great technology but also the competency to plan, deploy, support and migrate those solutions. Microsoft Gold Certified Partners enrolled in this competency have demonstrated knowledge of, and experience with, the deployment of Internet-based solutions and infrastructure using Microsoft tools and software.
Designed for technology partners who provide unique custom-built solutions for clients, accreditation against this Microsoft competency highlights Welcom Software's ability to tailor solutions to meet client needs. The competency also helps Welcom Software to deliver focused value through three specialisations: Advanced Infrastructure Development, Smart Client Development and Web Development.
Accreditation against the Data Management Solutions competency reflects the highly specialised skills and experience Welcom Software has in business intelligence and database applications using Microsoft tools and software. To achieve accreditation of this competency, Welcom Software continuously demonstrates knowledge of specialised expertise in implementing solutions that feature: data warehousing, business intelligence, online analytical processing (OLAP), data mining, decision support, in-depth reporting solutions and associated access tools.
Investors in People is a national quality standard which sets a level of good practice for improving an organisation's performance through its people. Established in 1990, it is supported by a range of organisations including the CBI, TUC and CIPD.
