Welcom Software Group expands management team with new Network and Infrastructure Manager.

The Welcom Software Group, supplier of class leading solutions in eCommerce, financial accounting, retail and loan management software has expanded its management team with the appointment of Neil Platt as Network and Infrastructure Manager.

Platt, who joins Welcom Software from Hitachi Capital where he worked as Network Manager, has been appointed to oversee all network and infrastructure systems across the Group with an immediate focus on developing and delivering a best-of-breed Communications Strategy.

Platt joins Welcom Software with a wide range of system, network and infrastructure experience acquired from over 10 years experience of working in the IT industry. Having previously worked for leading businesses across the Retail, Distribution and Finance sectors Platt also brings with him a wide range of commercial and business experience.

Speaking about the appointment Platt said: “I believe that successful network and infrastructure management is based on having a consistent approach underpinned by strong business processes. Network complexity is growing as the number of enterprise users, devices, and applications proliferate.Through my previous experience I have built up the knowledge to manage network and infrastructure systems to ensure complete control over often complex structures. I look forward to helping drive Welcom Software forward and build on the solid foundations that have been laid already within the hosting environment.”
